Second Floor Update 2

Here is the current state of our second floor..

In our master bath, we got our shower glass, got our toilet installed, put in shower hardware.

it's really pretty
In the master bedroom, Dan painted the floors, I painted the ceiling navy (Behr Deep Space) and the walls Delicate White (Pittsburgh paints), I picked up some old trim from the Vermont Salvage, Carpenter Dan installed the trim, and then we painted the trim many many coats (I guess we didn't sand enough of the old varnish off). We put up the drum shade chandelier and then hooked up the electrical.

the trim from Vermont Salvage. They told me it came out of some fancy schmancy house in Brookline, MA.
trim up, unpainted

In the shared bath, we fixed the painted stripe, shower glass and toilet were installed, and we painted the trim.

I know I said we would move up to the second floor in May, and we pretty much could move up now, but Dan wants to get the hallway done too before we make the move. Things to get done in the immediate future:
- get Dan to install baseboards
- hook up second floor water line to the main water line
- finish mudding hallway
- paint hallway
- patch in hallway flooring
- paint hallway flooring
- hook up hallway electrical

Getting there!
